Fp+ offsite 30 day question

we are staying offsite the week after thanksgiving. Does the 30 day fp window mean I can book all of our 7 day vacation on the 30th day prior to arrival or do I have to book 3 fp each day for a week after the 39th day from arrival? Also, does locking in fp activate my tickets? If not, is it possible for me to start locking in fp 30 days from today, even if I won't be there? I wouldn't do that, I just want to see what it will look like before my 30 day window begins. Thx!!

Answers to FP FAQs like yours can be found in the green link in my signature. Offsite guests must book one day at a time, your tickets are not activated by selecting FP, and you can practice all you like.

Yes, you need a ticket. If you have a ticket loaded online, you can book a FP+ for any day 30 days out.
