FP/Magic band ?

Our family is only doing one day at Disney(doing MK) and staying off site. How does the FP/Magic band work for just this one day? Can we even do this? Where/how would we get a Magicband? Thanks for your help

It's easier to use your hard, plastic ticket at the entrance and FP lines rather than buy MBs for a one-day park visit.

Do you have an MDE account? Have you pre-purchased your tickets?

Link your tickets to your MDE account and then you can book FPs 30 days before your park visit.

MagicBands have nothing to do with booking FPs. Tickets and MBs provide the link to your ticket and FP data in your MDE account.

Think of a card ticket as just like a Magic Band except you carry it and touch it to the tapstile instead of wear it and touch it the tapstile. Magic Bands are just a convenience and not worth the extra cost to buy them especially for just one day. Have fun!
