Hi Everyone,
we are almost off to Disneyland - leaving this Sunday! Yay! I realized late last night that I have given lots of thoughts to a touring plan for DCA but somehow not considered DL. We are not newbies - but our last visit was in 2014. Our days to visit are Mon-Fri, with Friday being a half day - 5 day one park/day tickets. Staying at the Sheraton and planning on pool breaks everyday midday. This will be the first year that we can all go on all rides together.
Here is our plan for Monday - I plan on doing an opposite Magic Morning/EMH strategy (the last time we participated in MM it felt busier than on a regular day). We plan to be at rope drop, 45 min early, every morning.
Monday: DL - proceed to Peter Pan, then while the rest of the family rides Dumbo, I grap Indy FP. Ride all F-land rides that interest us, then on to Indy. That's how far I got in planning ....so please tell me, which is the best order for our remaining FP in your opinion? Splash, BTMR, Star Tours, Space (we want to ride Space but it's our least favorite of the headliners), then Buzz?
Or does it make more sense to leave all of Tomorrowland for another day because crowds and closed walkways will make FP running more difficult? In other words, should I stick to my old strategy of hoofing it all over the park whenever a Fp opens to grab the next one or would it actually be better to go land by land on a busy day? We also have an Alladin lunch reservation for a parade viewing fp (first parade), not sure if they are worth the premium now that nobody can reserve spots in advance anyway...
Thanks!
