FP help needed- not sure what to prioritize

We have a trip planned for January- I can make my FPs next week. I used to have a good plan with the old FP system but this is our first time for the new FP+. We are a group of 10 who won't want to all ride the same things which is part of my confusion, but for now I'll just ask about the rides we are all doing and go from there.

I am trying to plan 2 half days at MK. Our first day we are hoping to get there for EMH at 8am. From 8-10 we would hope to do most of the old Fantasyland (Peter Pan, Small World, Carousel, Pooh, Tea Cups) and would love to get to do 7MDT too.

Questions for that day-
How long is the 7MDT wait right at opening? Would it be crazy to try to do that and then Peter Pan with no FPs? I was hoping to save the FPs for after lunch when the park is more crowded.

Our second half day at MK we would also try to get there at rope drop (I say try because with so many of us plus 2 littler ones I don't know if it will be as easy as when it's just my family). That day I'd hope to do Anna & Elsa (crossing fingers), Enchanted Tales, Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Goofy roller coaster, People Mover, Buzz and Space Mt for the older kids. I was thinking we could start at Space Mt/Buzz with no FP and use the FP's for Enchanted Tales, Little Mermaid & Anna/Elsa in the later morning. Do I even need a FP for Journey of Little Mermaid? How long is Anna/Elsa line right at rope drop?

Sorry so many questions!

Have a great trip!

Thanks- I have been using your link a ton trying to figure out how the new system works- it's a huge help! I just thought some people might have experience or advice about things like 7DMT and Anna/Elsa at rope drop time. Maybe I didn't read far enough into your thread though- I've been mostly using the first few posts to see how everything works!

Both Anna & Elsa and the 7DMT are busy at rope drop. You would do best to FP them at the end of your day and concentrate on the other attractions. I would instead do Peter Pan at rope drop and then move over to Enchanted Tales, then probably Pooh, Tea Cups, Mermaid, Dumbo then Goofy.

Thanks- Peter Peter Pan was always our first at rope drop so I guess it will stay that way! Hopefully I can get Anna/Elsa for my niece and nephew. I'm worried because we are a party of 10. Only 3-4 really need to go in but since I have to book all 10 of us together at first I'm afraid that will be impossible.

I'm going to try the "book your last day first" strategy and hopefully we'll get lucky. So glad my booking window opens on a Friday night and not a weekday!

You don't have to book all 10 at the same time. You just need to find a time that all 10 overlap. It won't be easy, but I think it's doable.

Oh- this is going to be confusing! I thought when I did the first round of FP picking I had to book us all at the same times then I could go back and move us around. I guess I have another week to figure it all out!

If you can practice on a closer date and just any attraction, I definitely would. I didn't think that you had to select FP+ for everyone in your group. I believe it lets you pick which people you are getting for from your party. I rarely do it this way though, because it's just the 3 of us.
