There are two "have-tos" for our Epcot day. We plan on getting there as soon as it opens. Are we better off to run for a FP for Soarin and then wait in line for Test Track or vice versa? Everytime we have gone, I have missed Test Track wither becuase I was pregnant, it was shut down for rain, or the line was too ridiculous. I am not missing it this time! I am even more excited for Soarin though. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

:confused3

I would get to Soarin' for an FP and then over to TT next. Soarin' is new so I'm guessing it will have a bigger draw. I think as long as you plan to do them in a 1-2 punch - you'll accomplish them both regardless of which you do first. It's just that this way, You go in, get FP for Soarin', head over to TT, get in line for that. After that, get FP for M:S or walk-on if lines are short enough. Head back to Soarin' use FP, then do Figment and/or HISTK movie, maybe the Land (if open) or Living Seas, head back to M:S FP if haven't already... and you still have the rest of the day to hit World Showcase!

I thought you could not hold two FP at the same time?

I would go to Soarin for a FP first. The other day the stand by wait was 95 mins. Once the ride is open for everyone you are going to see very long lines. They built the building to hold a 3 hour wait.

Yesterday (4/24) we got FP's for Soarin' which said we could get another FP "Now" so DH went immediately to Test Track and got a FP for that one too. We did Imagination, then Soarin', then the Greenhouse boat tour in the land, then Test Track and headed for the countries. Maybe we just got lucky, but it worked for us.

If you get there right at opening I would head to Soarin for a FP right away too. Then if you head right over to TT w/o sidetracking anywhere else the standby line should still be under 20 minutes that early. A lot of families get temporairly sidelined by the character bus at opening.

This weekend we got a FP for Soarin'. It said on it that we could get another FP NOW. We did not, however. When we got to The Land 20 minutes before out FP time, I got a FO for Living with the Land. It also said that I could get another FP NOW.

I think the new FP system is going to allow you to get FPs more frequently.

Having said that, I think it will depends on the day of the week. On Saturday as SafetyMom mentioned, the wait was between 80 and 100 minutes all day. Weekdays have been a lot better.

Just FYI, the "you can get another FP NOW" instead having to wait 40-120 minutes is a test they are conducting for the month of April, it will end Saturday.

As my first day in the parks is Sunday, I am not too happy about it and I hope against hope, but it is only a test for April.
