Staying on site and AK will be on day 6 so we have that going for us.
We are a party of 10 and our youngest is 11 and 16. Everyone else is 18 and up so we can break up the group easily enough.
Of course we would prefer to all ride together but would settle for everyone getting a FP, next goal would be to have us all about the same time frame (morning).

What’s the best strategy? I try for all 10 FP or we break up into groups of 2 or 3 and simultaneously get on MDE to snag the FP in small batches?

Thank you!

At 60+6 you shouldn’t have any trouble finding FP for your whole group.

I made fast passes for FOP for a group of 24 at 60+3.
It’s MUCH easier to click “select all” & just grab the time you’re interested in. For my group, I grabbed what was offered (2pm), but for you, you should have more of an option.

I was able to get FP for FOP for a group of 18 during Christmas week at 60 days plus 6. We were in the early afternoon.

Last month I got FPs for our party of 11 at the 64 day mark for FoP. To be clear, 64 days before Nov 6 I scored them and this was during the last week of Food&Wine and I believe the dreaded Jersey Week.

Just keep in mind you will not be all together for the actual ride. The rooms don't hold 10. Your briefing can be together.

How many do they hold? I thought it was 15 or 16.

It’s okay though. More concerned about keeping the group relatively together for planning sake! Thank you for the information so we won’t be surprised!

You can start out together in the briefing room, as I call it. When it's time to do the ride the rooms are smaller.

The room including the ride holds 16. We did a 14 and 4 split. You’ll be fine. Disney is incredibly accommodating in keeping groups together.

Oh so glad I found this thread! I also have to make FP for FOP for a group of 10 and I'm just hoping for the best! Good to hear some successes!

I got FOP at 11am for my group of 9 at 60+5. It was the first FP I booked, then worked backward for the other days and hard to gets.

As others have said, you shouldn't have a problem getting the FPs at 60+6.

Just FYI to clarify other posts - A group of up to 16 can be in the same briefing or pre-show rooms and you will ride at the same time. However, the theaters are oriented such that only 8 people can be next to each other. The other 8 are in another room that is separated by a divider - so you won't be able to see them.

I think there is confusion on who rides together. It is a little like Soarin’. Sure you might not sit in the same row but if you are looking at who is next to you, you are missing the ride. I walked in with my clan and walked out with my clan.

We're looking to get FP for 5 at 60+1 - thoughts on what my chances are? I can rearrange and do AK later in the week if needed.
