FP+ for FOF and MSEP

were released for while I'm there the last week of January, but the viewing area is no longer in front of the castle, it says viewing is in Town Square by the flagpole. Is that a big enough area to rope off for fp+ viewing? I haven't been since 2007 so I honestly can't remember. LOL! Must say I really wish it was still in front of the castle.

1 & 2. They set up TWO simultaneous viewing areas when the parks are very busy.
Also, during Hub construction, it's possible that the front-of-castle viewing might be temporarily unavailable.

3. Yup. They are/will be using the Town Square viewing area during the busy Christmas season.

Oh ok, I didn't think the last week of January would be that busy to have two areas... and I also thought maybe something to do with their hub construction, maybe they have plans to be working closer to the castle during that time...

So how is the view in this spot?? I was looking forward to watching it in front of the castle and it didn't even click when I reserved them that it said Town Square, even though I do remember reading it now.

Town Square is the only viewing spot available for the parades during our vacation at the end of January. It must be because of the hub construction. Will we be able to see the Celebrate the Magic show on the castle from there?

I'd rate the view of CtM at about 30-40% from Town Square.

One big negative is that they don't turn off the street lights at that end of Main Street during CtM and the fireworks.

Glad you posted this as we're going at the end of January too. Is the parade route going to be the same and "only" the FP+ viewing area has changed?

I would thing the Town Square area would be big enough to block off for FP+ I don't think it will be as good in terms of you won't have the castle directly in the background (like in the hub area)

I've heard nothing of the parade route undergoing any changes.

But, in the past, on certain projects, they have made some changes when construction was a factor.

Thank you! If we have a FP+ for Wishes, will it be head to make it up the street through the crowds? We aren't sure if we are staying for the fireworks or not.

We were in the Main St hub for MSEP a couple of weeks ago. It was great! A lot of people think it's a waste of a fast pass for the parades but I would do it again in a heartbeat. My DGD is 4 and shelved every minute of it and she had front row with no excessive waiting or having to jostle (which is why I got the fp to begin with)! We had done the BBB that day and so many of he characters stopped to make over her; I got some great pictures.
