FP for Big Thunder - isolated or connected to main system?

Someone has posted that during their recent trip Big thunder's FP was not connected to main system - they could get a FP for big thunder while holding another FP...

is this correct - when I was there in June it was connected to the system -

It was true 10 days ago. We were there 10/1-10/6 and could get BTMRR fastpasses even if we had FPs for other DL rides. It was definitely disconnected from the system.

Interestingly, at DCA, Grizzly River Rapids, which used to be disconnected, did not seem to be anymore (once they turned it on midday). This time of year, this ride does not usually have long lines though.
