We are staying offsite the first week in February. My plan is to get to Magic Kingdom at rope drop, ride what has short waits for a few hours and then try to schedule my fastpass plus selections for later in the day. My question is how much availability will there be if I dont book the selections first thing in the morning? We aren't planning on doing the mountains, but rather things like Peter Pan, Rapunzel meet and greet, Enchanted Tales with Belle...Do the lines at the fastpass plus kiosks get longer during the day? I just hate to waste time waiting in the morning when the lines aren't bad yet. Also, does anyone know what kiosks might have a shorter wait?

I don't know how the lines will be usually since this is still so new, but I can tell you my experience. I was a MK on the Thurs before marathon weekend and went to the kiosk by Philharmagic after lunch to change a fp+. There was one person at the machine when I arrived, so I didn't wait long at all. There was also a cast member to help and another with a hand held machine for people to make fp+ also.

Im wondering the same thing! Staying offsite in march during spring break prolly wont have a good idea of things till there is a real busy day! Im thinking about having the wife an kids go on a ride an just me doing it in the morning at rope drop cause i heard 1person in the party can schedule them all!

I don't think anyone knows the answer to this since it's so new....but if it were me:

I'd be there at rope drop and hit the rides first. I wouldn't stop at a FP+ kiosk until at least 10:30, unless I happened to be walking by one that no one was waiting at.

And judging by most people's habits, I would think kiosks towards the back of the park would be less busy.

This is a thread that would be interesting to watch. I am heading to WDW towards the end of March and in making my touring plans, I'm trying to figure out if we should stop to schedule our FP+ before hitting any rides or if we should just hit our rides (like PP) and then go schedule.

Again, this is all based on what is happening right now - no advanced FP+ for offsite guests. Who knows what it will look like in 65 days. :confused3

when we were there in October I was told that this kiosk was the least used at MK and I bet that hasn't changed as its way at the back of the park:
