FP+ all set for AK but site not letting me switch days?

I had my whole trip in place and found out good friends would be in Orlando at the same time. They wanted to go to AK the day before we had everything set. I cannot seem to get my FP moved over. It isn't even letting me browse the options for the day before.

I hate moving everything if it means I lose it all and can't book our FP+ stuff.

Does anyone know about the reason why the web site restricting me?

You can't switch days of fp+. You would have to cancel and then rebook. I assume you already have fp+ booked for each day of your tickets. The system will not let you book fp+ for more days than you have ticket days. So if you have 4 day tickets, you can have 4 days fp+ booked. That's why you wouldn't be able to check fp+ for a different day.

Go back in and cancel only one of your current days worth of FP+ (choose the one that is the least important to you and/or has FP+ for attractions that are not so difficult to get.)

Then, you will be able to book new FP+ for the new earlier AK day.
If you need to add a day to your park tickets, do so at some time after you have entered AK on that first day.
Any time after you add the extra day to your tickets, you will then be able to make advance FP+ for that extra day.
