Hi - you have some nice choices on there but no character meals  If it were me, I'd ditch Kona and do Chef Mickey's or something. The food quality in Kona is good but I've never understood why folk go out of thereway to eat there, as it isjust a fairly basic cafe type place.

Le Cellier, Raglan Road and the Japanese one are great - I'm planning to eat in those next year. Lots of people rate Chefs de France but last time I was there it was just basic food in a noisy canteen style atmosphere - a big departure from the romantic dinner it used to be.

I haven't tried Boma yet but I've heard great things about it. I see that you're staying at AKL but you haven't included Jiko. Jiko is really worthwhile trying. It's two dining credits but the quality is excellent.

Lol Fozziebear i see you have posted our ADRs :)

Hi all,
Im the one responsible for making the choices (im fozziebear's daughter), yes we don't have any character meals by choice... more intersted in the food than the characters and have done some before, well we are sort of doing one character meal, we wanted to see remmy... thats why we are doing chefs :)
We love the food at Kona so always return there as well as boma, o'hana and le cellier. Yes i agree Jiko is good but we wanted to try the only other signature that we have not yet been to which is Yachtmans Steakhouse.

Im very happy we maneged to get them all so far! and super excited for our trip!!!
:hyper:

Great choices, let us know how you get on at Saana. Good luck with seeing Remmy:goodvibes

Hi - I was only joking about the characters. We did 2 character meals on a trip without the kids but we would never admit that to our family and friends :)

Yachtsman steakhouse is v good - the quality of the steak is excellent.

nice choices!

i'm starting to think about what i'm going to reserve for our september visit..
i have a while before i can make the ADRs, but i want to be ready (not like last year)..

it's for 2 weeks...

this is what i'm thinking of:

--chef mickeys for dinner
--crystal palace for dinner
--boma
--yak & yeti
--coral reef
--50's prime time
--sci fi (DD said this one was surprisingly the best for her last year - she's a vegetarian and they specially prepared something for her that was so good, she went back 2 more times)
--chefs du france
--le cellier
--tusker house
--citricos

any suggustions in addition to or instead of these?
