West Virginia has lost nine games over the last two seasons with three of them coming against Maryland by a combined score of 123 to 31. This is the chance the Mountaineers have been waiting for with their best team yet under head coach Rich Rodriguez, packed with experience and explosion. While there's still a road game at Virginia Tech looming, some see the Terps as the final barrier for West Virginia and an 11-0 season. Maryland is once again searching for respect. Forget about the three straight ten-plus win seasons, many don't see Maryland as a superpower and this is yet another chance to prove how strong Ralph Friedgen's program is.
Prediction: Maryland 30 ... West Virginia 27
I respectfully disagree as do the espn.com guys. This is our big test this season. I hope they pull through!
