Fourth of July - Anything special onboard?

Do the cruise lines do anything in recognition of the 4th of July? I know everyone sailing isn't American so didn't know. Maybe they have pirate night that night so we can have fireworks?

My son and I sailed last year with Disney over the 4th and they had a large Deck Party, gave out flags and had balloons and confetti in the Atrium. We were docked in Key West at the time so no fireworks but we were able to see over 8 different shows in Key West from our balcony! We wanted to do it again this year but opted for our Disneyland trip instead and then of course we sail on July 9!!! Enjoy your cruise!

I was hoping they would do something fun. Glad to not be disappointed!

So it sounds like they might do fireworks as long as we are not docked.
