Fourteen Day Repositioning Cruise

Has anyone taken a repositioning cruise? We are thinking of taking a 14 day cruise on the Disney Magic in May as they move the ship from Port Canaveral to Barcelona. This seems like a great value and were wondering about the experiences of anyone else who has sailed on on of these cruises. This will be our ninth Disney Cruise !

We took the Westward repositioning cruise from Barcelona to Port Canaveral 3 years ago. Best trip of our lives! What we have heard is that the Eastward cruise from Port Canaveral to Barcelona which occurs in I think april or may did not have good weather. The Atlantic Ocean is very rough & cold that time of year.

We did the Eastbound this year and had fantastic weather and a smooth crossing. It was an amazing trip!!

We did the 14n "return" Panama Canal on DCL Magic in Aug 2005. We are booked on the Spring 2011 repo of DLC Wonder along the Pacific Coast to Vancouver and we've also done multiple trans-Atlantic crossings on other cruise lines. Love the repo cruises for "relaxing" itineraries ... and having the ship as the major attraction/destination.

The Repo cruises are great bargains!!! We had a blast on the 15 N EB PC Aug 2008.

Would do it again in a heartbeat if it falls right with the school schedules.

This IS the one I wanted to do, but it won't work out for next year. Hoping it is offereed in 2012!
