So, Where to start? Introductions, I guess. There's me, Stephanie-40, my daughter-Nevaeh-7,My mother, we'll just call her mom-64 this will be her first visit. My sister-Julie and her two daughters Gabby-19, and Gi Gi-4, and it will also be there first visit. So in all that's six of us girls going to Disney!!! I have forever been a lover of Disney and took my daughter for her first trip in 2015-we had the most amazing time! My niece Gabby has also shared the love of Disney with me for 19 years. This is a pic of Me and Nevaeh

Mom-I don't have very many pics of her, so this one will have to do, shhh do t tell her

She's actually pretty proud of this one cuz it's just after she lost 50 pounds-she's had one full knee replacement and needs another, so we'll be needing to rent a scooter for her, she can walk and get around, but all day at the park-she'll never make it, I'm hoping to not get any of those "looks"

My youngest Niece Gi, she's a Disney princess through and through, and sometimes a bit grumpy!

Im still looking for pics of my sister and oldest niece-we'll get to those later, so a little history on this trip planning-it all started back in 2015 when Nevaeh and I returned from our mother daughter trip. I was dreaming of a family vacation to share with my sister and her girls, she has never really been in a financial situation to take the girls on any type of vacation, let alone Disney, but I love them so much and so wanted to make it happen for them, so my planning began....and the saving!

I talked with the girls about doing this trip, just us, and started looking at options. I told Jules that I would pay for our accommodations for the whole group as long as she could come up with money for tickets and spending money, and then mom said she would kick in airfare for them. So I started looking into all of the options for a group of 6, I researched and researched-played with all of the options. I looked into renting an RV and staying at FW-which seems like it would be an amazing adventure! Then I started hearing about DVC point rentals, and my brain started turning, I decided I wanted to Buy!!! So months and months of research, I bought my first set of points with DVC. So we are staying in a 2 BR at AKL Kidani!!!! Yeah, I'm so excited! Done-Accomodations taken care of, as well as accommodations for all of my future trips, wink wink!

So, right at 180 days I was ready to go to make our dining reservations. I made lots of reservations knowing that we may adjust or cancel as the trip gets closer, I've already made some changes. Since I am the only one that has ever been to Disney besides my 7 yo, it's up to me to decide. Julie is a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, Gabby loves Tigger and Tink, the littles are all about anything princess, and I just LOVE everything Disney, and I love doing character meals, as you will see with my plans.

A little more info on our trip, My sister really has no idea what it's going to be like, she says she doesn't want to be in the parks everyday-she wants to relax, so she only purchased a 3 day ticket for herself(if she changes her mind, I'm going to surprise her and upgrade her ticket). She purchased 5 day tickets for her girls( also if they want more park days, I'm upgrading theirs too). They all have no hopper tickets as they don't know what they want to do yet. I have 8 day PH for Me and Nevaeh(I know, I know, it's not proper English)! Mom still doesn't have park tickets yet, who knows what we'll be getting for her??? I have some plans for only Nevaeh and I-because mother daughter time is important, and there's no way that we will all be able to do everything together the whole week, we might kill each other! And Julie really wants a stress free relaxing vacation, so I made all of the dining reservations for all 6 of us knowing that we may only show up as 2,4,5??? Who knows, but I'm about 99.9% sure that I will be doing them! Le Cellier is the only restaurant I made the reservation for just 2 of us, it was our favorite dinner last time.

Last trip we didn't get to see Fantasmic or Illuminations-so those are a must for us this trip! I am not sure how well Gi Gi will hold up for full days, so I'm sure a few of us will be heading back to resort(did I say AKL!!!) for some afternoons. I plan to rent a double stroller-For use whenever we have Gi Gi in the parks, and Nevaeh will be able to sit in it too if she's inclined, if not-storage space for bags and snacks! We will likely be renting a car, not 100% on that yet, and my mom will need the scooter-haven't decided if we will rent off property or on property yet.

Joining! I love that you're helping to get your sister and nieces to WDW :goodvibes I would love to do that for my sister, who has 3 boys and also is not in a situation financially to take them on any sort of vacation and most likely won't be for some time. My sister has been a few times both as a child with our parents and before she was married as an adult, but my nephews (currently 12,8,5) never have.

Congrats on buying DVC! We rent points often but don't own. Have you stayed at AKL before? It's one of my 2 favorite resorts :thumbsup2

This will be my first time ever staying at AKL, but it's been where I've been wanting to stay for a long time
