What are the pros and cons for the Four Seasons resort? Never considered staying there since it’s not one of the traditional Disney-owned and themed resorts, but it looks like the amenities and prestige could make up for that.

would I be able to book through my Disney TA?Do they have access to Magical Express or some other transport service?

Since your Disney TA is a TA then they can book the Four Seasons for you. The Four Seasons (FS) also has access to Extra Magic hours* and the 60 day FP+ booking window. You don't get access to DME to or from the airport but the FS does offer bus service to the Disney parks.

This bus service does not have access to the MK resort bus drop off area so your bus to the MK from the FS will drop you at the TTC and you can then take a Monorail or a Ferryboat (when available) to hop to the MK.

The FS also is eligible for free package delivery from the parks.

Note: You also don't get free or reduced priced MagicBands or the ability to charge to your MB (aka charging to your room from the parks).

* Four Seasons has a note that the Extra Magic hours access is available through Dec. 31, 2020 on the web site.

Can you do Dining Plans? Do you know?

The Four Seasons is another level. There is no Magical Express. We rented a car. Sometimes we took the bus, sometimes we took a cab. We did 2 park days, 1 Christmas party day, and 3 hotel-only days. On our next trip to Orlando, I had a more park-heavy trip planned so we did a split stay between the Swan and the Contemporary. My 6 year old tried to complain that there wasn't a robe for her at the Swan "like the Four Seasons." And that she liked the Four Seasons a lot because there was ice cream in the lobby. They really gave her a lot of attention for her 5th birthday during our stay. Also, this sounds silly, but I am reminded of the Four Season all the time at home because they gave my then-9 month old a felt pirate's hat and now he is 2 and wears that hat around all the time. We can't wait to someday return. The Contemporary has its own advantages for a park-heavy stay, but the level of luxury there didn't compare to the Four Seasons.

I am guessing this something similar to the DDP/TIW where non Disney owned & operated restaurants decide if they the want to "join" the program each year. Four Seasons probably has to do the same for Extra Magic hours.
