Four officers shot. So sad. Please pray for the families!

This guy is a monster. His family and friends are helping him avoid the police that are looking for him. They have taken someone into custody and now they say that they think he is on his own. Sounds like he has a stomach wound and they say he might bleed out.

This is the second police shooting in our area since Halloween. 5 police officers family's without a parent, husband/wife, or son/daughter. It just make me so angry. God Bless those families.

I hate seeing Policemen killed in the line of duty. I know it is part of the job and luckily around me it is a rarity but it is always sad. I appreciate the police and what they do to keep our cities safe and make it a point to wave to any I see out on the road.

His family and friends should be prosecuted along with him.

I hate seeing police get killed in the line of duty too, but this was so different. They were sitting ducks. No warning. They weren't out on a call. They didn't have a chance.

After this and seeing his arrest record, good riddance, some people are way beyond help, and this poor excuse for a human being was one of them, I'm really shocked and appalled that he was able to roam the streets to begin with.

I realize that every shooting by a police officer has its unique set of facts, but given the dangers officers face it is difficult not to give them the benefit of the doubt. The facts presented in the article above indicate that the shooting of the suspect was justified. I do not believe we will see an appearance by Jesse and friends in this case.

As the wife of a police officer this story hits really close to home. My thought s and prayers to all the families affected. I'm glad they killed the guy-save taxpayers time and money. I wonder how Mike Huckabee is sleeping at night?

I feel your pain...my dh tried to keep me away from the TV so I would not see it! I saw it on the news last night....I hope Huckabee feels ok with his choice...

They killed the guy this morning.

He was shot and killed by a lone patrol officer investigating a stolen car. Clemmons was shot when he refused the officer's orders to stop and show his hands.

Thank goodness this monster is off the streets. But the nightmare is sadly just beginning for the families of the four police he killed in cold blood.

Those numbers are not odd at all....you would be SHOCKED at the family and friends that just turn a blind eye to someone like this just because "they are not going to turn in their family to the cops!" I would turn them in RIGHT AWAY with no problem! They take pride in NOT being a SNITCH! It is sick...

I am telling you, the scumbag family members and friends of this guy should be prosecuted to the absolute full extent of the law. I hope they spend years, lifetimes, in jail. Maybe that will make somebody think twice before they aide a killer.

My son is a sheriff's cadet and wants to be a police officer when he's old enough. I just can't even imagine how the families of those murdered officers must feel.

I am so glad this guy is dead and getting the best justice there is.
