Hi. We will be arriving in Paris on a Tuesday night and leaving on Sunday morning during the summer. What days should we do DLP? Should we avoid Saturday? Is that a better day to visit Paris? We want to do 2 days in the park, 1 day in Paris, and 1 day in Normandy. We're just not sure if it matters what day we do each thing.

When you say summer which month are we talking about ? If it's when all the schools are out doesn't really make much difference which day you do things as you have the longer hours.

How are you going to Normandy as at weekends the roads will be busy busy with all the Ile de France and Paris people driving up on Friday and coming back on Sunday for a weekend or the change over on a Saturday as 2/3 weeks holiday finishes and someone elses starts.

Where are you staying ? Are you at DLP for 3 nights and just taking the train into Paris for the day or staying in Paris 3 nights and coming out to the park 2 days ? The travelling will eat into your time as you've got a couple of hours round trip

We are doing 5 nights at the Disneyland Hotel and will be arriving the first week of June. We plan to be on the 7:07am train to Caen for Normandy one day and on the 3pm train to return. We plan to use a private tour guide during our 6 hours there.

Ok now worries then as June isn't what we'd call summer - schools don't start breaking uptill the 3rd week in June and it gets really busy when France starts there summer hols first weekend of July

Avoid Saturday in that case and do Paris on that day - it will be busy but not as busy as DLP

I agree with Carrie_Cat; do the parks on (some of the) weekdays, avoiding Saturday, when 50% of the Parisiens seem to be at DLP :scared1:

One more thing: you might want to check out "closures and refurbishments". I looked at

http://www.dlpguide.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/ (lovely site and reliable too)

and saw a lot of c&r for the whole month of May... June is not on the list yet, but I'm sure it will be shortly.

Enjoy your stay!
