Is it the Fountains Resort, owned by Blue Green? It's a timeshare, right? My in-laws let us use some of their "points" for our 2007 Disney trip to stay here. We really enjoyed it for the most part. It was great to have our own little apartment. We had a full kitchen, 2 full baths, 2 full bedrooms (one with a jacuzzi tub), a living/dining area and a balcony. Very handy with our then 10 month old. The pool and club house were wonderful, very tastefully decorated and a nice place to hang out. They do have a small grab and go type food place...not sure I'd call it a restaurant, but you can get sandwiches, chips, baked goods, snacks, and drinks there. They also have a small gift shop with resort & Orlando souvenirs & a few basic necessities.
They were in the process of constructing a new water park there during our stay and our room did overlook the construction, but since we were gone a good portion of the day, we never really heard or saw much construction going on. I believe the new park is now complete and open.
The biggest draw back for us was the location. It is conveniently located between Seaworld and Disney (we visited both), but that whole area just seemed out in no man's land and far from what I would consider a "main drag" with stores, restaurants, and gas stations. We had to drive into the parks every day, and while for some the good deal they got on this resort will outweigh the minor inconveniece of driving to Disney, for us, with a baby and all she brings with her, it was a hassle. We felt were always loading and unloading, and since we stayed on the 3rd floor, we had to take a slow, HOT elevator ride down to the parking lot every morning and night. The room entrances are outside, though pretty well covered and sheltered, they are still outside. The elevators, of course, were enclosed, but not air conditioned. NOT a good thing in central Florida heat and humidity!
I would proabably stay here again, as my main complaint wasn't even about the resort or it's amenities, but rather it's location, but as a parent to a now toddler, I will stay on Disney property for our next Disney vacation. It's just a lot easier being so accessible to your room at any time during the day.
