My experience is that new pets after a day or two usually name themselves. I really like cookie as in the oreo reference. I have always named my pets based on some quirky personality trait. I do like Chloe since you have already decided to stick with your established list. She doesn't really look like a Chloe to me but I like that name. Bless you for taking this little bundle of joy into your home, see that I would have named her Joy! based on how she arrived on my door step. Once again, Bless you and your family and most importantly little kittie who shall remain nameless for now but very much loved

How about Dixie?I know it's not on the list but she looks like a Dixie.At least that's what I would name her.

She looks like a Oreo so while it is not a choice, we would name her Cookie.

Last Friday, my wife and I went to some yard sales. At one, a friendly calico cat wandered up to my wife. While my wife was giving the cat some lovin', the little girl who lived there came up to her. My wife asked her if it was her cat and if she knew the name. The little girl responded that the cat lives across the street and that they call her 'Philosophy', but she calls her 'Cookie'.

I have this thing where I have to name my cats based on their markings.

We have had Smokey (grey) and the Bandit (black and white with a triangle over his eye).

Ashley (grey), Stripe (he had a white mohawk), Honey (yellow tabby).

I have dogs now and named the yellow dog Butters. I did stray from my naming and named the Tri-Color Border Collie, Gracie.

Something wrong with "Kitty" for a name???? Hmmm?



I like Daisy.

Chloe is okay, but it's been done to death. Sick of that name.

Plus, Daisy has that Disney tie-in, which gives it bonus points.
