Found kitten ~ need a name!

This past week a tiny kitten showed up in our yard. There is no mom to be found, no littermates, we're not sure where she came from (our yard backs up to a river and it's not uncommon to have animals pop up here). As far as I can tell, it is a girl.

The shelters are overrun right now to the point where they are giving cats away for free so I told the kids we'd try to take care of her and see how it goes.

She is doing alright so far, eating kitten food, really sweet with the kids and we have set up the old dog crate in the back porch with a soft blanket which she loves. I really can't have her in the house full time right now because she starts hissing and freaking out around my dog (he couldn't care less about her, LOL). When he came up to sniff her, she dug all 4 paws into my arm .

Anyway, the girls are not in agreement on a name so we thought we'd post a pic of her here and try a poll ~ here she is!

We do like some of the names mentioned, but to keep it from getting more complicated we're going to stick with the original choices.

Too cute! We have a black and white cat named Zoe, and since Chloe rhymes, that is my choice.

My partner had a dream that our next cat will be named Pancake, so I'm offering that up as an option.

I voted for Lily because I have a cat with the same name. Her name is actually Tiger Lily (Disney-ish but not too obvious!) but we call her Lily for short.
