Found a Magical Moment in MK that I didn't know about

We were at Disney last week and stumbled upon a magical moment! We were at MK and went in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Libery Square. We were purchasing ornaments and I saw a tree near the registers that has a sign "Magical Moments Tree Decorated by" and a blank. I asked if my kids could decorate their tree. A CM came over and showed us where the basket of nonbreakable ornaments was to decorate the tree. My kids were thrilled. They love to decorate Christmas trees no matter what time of year it is! They got their names on the tree and a certificate for their magical moment. It was perfect for them! We took lots of pics and they kids felt so special!

Waking Tink's getting a little hard to do... (tried twice).

I just wanted to let you know about this magical moment because it's something that I didn't know about and only noticed it my second time in the store this trip (we buy ornaments when we travel and we all get to pick one).

ONe of the great things about WDW, is that no matter how many times you have been there is always something new to discouver on your return.

I had read about this before our Dec 2004 trip, but forgot to check on it.

There hasn't been much said about it since.

We happened to be in the shop late one afternoon last fall & saw the tree undecorated.

We asked the CM, but he said it's been too busy to do it. We asked a few more questions about it & he ended up saying that they hadn't done it for quite awhile & he wasn't sure if they would be continuing it.

The store is called Tinkerbell's Treasures or Treasure Chest something like that.

We were in there in April and my kids 7,2,1 were just looking around while my wife was buying an ornament and one of the CM's asked them if they wanted to decorate the tree. They did and received a certificate and we got a couple picture. We appreciated it very much and the kids loved it.

thanks.. I will add this to my list for next week!!! This sounds better than the tink thing... its just too hard and almost impossible without being there when they drop the rope after eating breakfast at the castle.. that is really the only way!
