The following is a formal response from Universal:

"The rumor you refer to is false. The front of the Line access for our on-site guests is not, I repeat, NOT changing. guests will still receive unlimited access to all rides, all day. Just present your resort ID card to the attendant, and you will be able to go on the ride as many times as you like, all day long, with no line, no wait. Please keep in mind that you will need to arrive at the shows at least 10 minutes before show-time to receive priortity seating.

The annonomous employee you refer to must be confusing the new turnstiles and the changes we are making to our "Universal Express" for multi-day and single-day ticket holders, with our on-site guests.

We look forward to entertaining you in June!"

This is a quote. I think Earl may have let his speculation get away with him, or maybe some of his buddies are having some fun with him, or maybe he's just spending too many happy hours at Margaritaville.

Any how, I'm happy now! <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

XL, If you would like to pass on the person's name that sent this to you, along with your email address. I will have a correction sent to you. Sorry, there's no speculation about this, as a matter of fact the formal documents came to our office today. I'm not getting into the subject again. BTW, I'm not the only Universal Orlando employee that's posted on this.

BTW, XL, one post, new guy or ????

See ya!

Dave and I met a guy (I think his name was Gary from the U. of Texas) who also said that FOTL was still unlimited for onsite guests. He said that he was the "FOTL guru."

As for me, I will see it to believe it. That's my other excuse for staying onsite. :)

"If you were me, you'd be good looking."

This is getty ridiculous. Yes it is (today), no, it won't be(soon). Once per attraction will be part of the new system.

Earl i hope your wrong as this is one of the few things universal has over wdw and to give it away IMHO is stupid marketing! Having used it , it was great and encountered few if any fotl people on any rides i was on.

All the information on the official Universal websites has been changed. It used to read unlimited, it no longer does. Regardless, Earl's and CoasterFEV's information is good enough for me. If there was any doubt...they would not have shared this with us.

Earl, just think how much fun it's going to be to say I told you so.

Oh by the way, do you think you could bog this program down in some red tape or something till after the 27th :D

Oh, Dad, come on. You're not going to get to say so. If you only knew .... I'll let you buy lunch when you get here. I'll be reasonable, Thunder Falls or Enchanted Oak?

BTW, there is a change coming that will be made public in about a week. Since this has been such an issue and some people can't seem to control themselves, everyone can wait and read about it. (Well, there are a few folks that I could e-mail.)

One thing that's certain, on the 15th, unlimited access goes away, barring any problems with the new equipment. It's there today, but won't be then. To save the arguements, go look. Every reference to the word "unlimited" is being done away with by this weekend. That includes the websites, billboards, signs, ads, etc.

I'm rooting for problems implementing the new equiptment as we arrive on the 18th!

Earl, I meant you we're going to get to say I told you so, I believe you. I was just hoping to get it delayed a couple weeks. I appreciate knowing these things in advance, it helps you plan your days. I think it's great your willing to share inside info with us before it goes public and I hope you don't get discouraged over all the fuss on this matter. In hindsight I think Universal may have made a marketing mistake in ever allowing unlimited access at all. If they had started out with this new system it would have been hailed as the greatest perk in Orlando. But it's hard to get excited over Porterhouse Steak after you've tasted Filet Mignon :D

Just to let you know your appreciated!! Any info a Universal Newbie like me can get to make our first trip easier I appreciate! Even if it takes away unlimited acess :(

Thanks again!

This little song is a peace offering to Earl to be sung to the tune of the Chilites song Oh Girl.

OOOHHH Earl
We'd be in trouble if you left us now
We'd all still be livin' in the dark
And we don't, don't want that nowwww

OOOHHH Earl
How we depend on you
We won't Know, which line to stand in
And that just, that just won't doooo

OOOHHH Earl
Come on just tell us please
What big things are gonna happen someday
don't make us, make us, get on our knees
OOOHHH Earl

Earl, Please come home

Don't make me have to rewrite Baby Come Back.

Dad, you are too funny! I loved your rendition of that song! It was quite fitting...
I'm sure more than a few of us would be begging down on our knee's that Earl will continue to share all that he does with us. Thanks for the chuckle Dad. :D

Dad, I'm sorry. I mistook what you said. It's just all of that abuse lately, there's only so much a guy can take, then your whole world starts to crumble around you. The next thing you know you're standing in front of the Slurpee machine at 7-11 trying to figure out whether you lift or pull the lever.

Not a pretty sight ......

Annonomys employee of Universal Orlando asks for instruction manual while standing at Slurpee Machine a witness says late today. "He couldn't find the FOTL Express Turnstile to get to the Slurpe Machine and it bewildered him." He the uttered some nonesense about a secret scoop number. 7-11 7-11 7-11.

Hey I bet its a code...Maybe its scoop 117???

Just picking on you Earl, you know we all love you. Just shows what your non-continental american friend said....your getting old.

Smile Earl. Lift to the right btw.

SECRET HIDDEN MESSAGE TO EARL: I'll buy you lunch at Hard Rock or IOA Restraunt of your choice next time I'm there. I owe that to ya. Hey, you going to email me the change? Pretty please? I may be over next week...I'll email you and let you know for sure.
