FOTL questions

We are planning a trip in 2010 especially for Harry Potter!!! If we plan to take 2 days to tour IOA, do we need to stay onsite for the FOTL passes? Will we be able to do everything in 2 days without it? How long are the waits without FOTL in June?

The only way to get FOTL is staying onsite and when Harry Potter does open up look for it to be extremly busy and your safe bet would be stay onsite

Those are express passes and are only good for once per ride but if you stay onsite you get unlimited express passes which we call FOTL and its your room key and you can use it as many times on a ride that you want

There are Express Passes which you can buy, and they are only good for one ride per selected attraction.

FOTL you can ride your favorites over and over.

Harry Potter and HR3 are really going to draw larger crowds.

Be at the parks 30 minutes before they open and make a bee line for those two attractions (one is at each park), then back track to other things. It can be done, esp with extended June hours.

Personally, I would stay on site, sleep in, and tour at your leisure

Thanks, I didn't realize that about the passes you buy!! What is HR3? We only plan on doing IOA.

HR3 is the new coaster they are building on the sudios side and it runs from the end of the studios to the front of citywalk if I am not mistaking and will be a great addition to universal

What is HR3?

The official name is Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit and it's scheduled to open sometime in the next few months at the Studios.
