I understand that each person in the party must have a room key for FOTL access. My questions are: Does my 2 year old need one? Are there names on the room keys? And also, my mother is staying with my family for 2 nights (of our 7N stay) in our room: Can she use FOTL with us, and how? Thank you.

Your 2yr old probably wont even get one, so they wont need it. The keys have names, but the names are irrelevant when using FOTL. As for the mother bit, if anyone isnt riding, she can use one of their room keys, or you can just explain the situation to Guest Services or the attendant. You shouldnt have a problem that way.

just ask for a room key for mom when you check in.

The girl at check in asked how many keys I needed. I said I have three plus a two year old and she said he needed one too and printed 4 keys for us. If your mom is staying with you, I guess she should get one as well. I don't think they have names on them, maybe just the name the reservation is under.
