Forward Corner Rooms on Fantasy/ Dream (8006, 8504, 7006, 7504)

Has anyone stayed in these staterooms and can recommend them? We have 8006 booked for a 6 night cruise or a verandah family midship room booked for a 4 night that I’ve been debating between. I liked that 8006 is a regular oceanview category for price and offers more space than most rooms. Did you experience any extra noise or inconveniences in these far forward corner rooms?

My mother and I stayed in that exact room on the Fantasy in 2012. We did a sailing to Puerto Rico over Thanksgiving.

Pros:
I really like the size of the room.

My sofa bed was in its own little corner by the window.

Cons:
I didn’t like that there was no curtain to separate the room at all.

You had to duck into the window to look out the front of the ship.

I had the worst motion sickness I have ever had when staying in that room since we were to far front. I am prone to motion sickness. Missed the Thanksgiving meal on the ship cause of it.

We sailed on the 8 night Bermuda cruise on the fantasy in 7004 - right next to 7006. Zero issues with motion sickness - we didn’t think there was any more movement in that far forward location than other cabins we have sailed in on the fantasy. The slanted port hole was practically unusable, but we loved the larger cabin and 7006 was much bigger than 7004.

Thanks!! Have you stayed in other forward rooms and not gotten sick? We were deck 12 pretty far forward for our honeymoon (maybe 5 rooms down from the forwRd end of the hallway) and had no issues so I’m thinking this would be similar.

I have stayed in an inside stateroom on the Magic that was forward. It was one of the few sideways staterooms. No issues with motion that sailing.

We were in that same exact room that was in the video Dream 7006 I think we were on the fifth sailing while the room is huge as others mentioned the window is very small. It was obviously listed as ocean view which since it was since it did have a window but DCL got so many complaints about it they actually lowered the catagory. No issues with motion which was good

We really like the forward rooms, you feel like you get more room. We are in 7504 on the Fantasy in September, going to be great.

We were in 7504 on the Dream recently (should be same as Fantasy) and loved the room and all the space. Yes you have to duck your head to look out the window but that wouldn’t stop me from booking the room again. Will be in 8504 in September on the Fantasy.
