Fort Wilderness Nightime Movie & Campfire

if you are planing on going stop at the store and get a the supplies. It is much cheaper!!

I think the kit is around 7 bucks and only make a few. For that you can make a whole bag full if you bring your own.

Also Stacktester and others, The sing along is now done by a guy.

Thanks very much. How nice that we can bring our own supplies. Can we also bring like some hot dogs? And is it really crowded in summer?

We've done hotdogs in the past. I will tell you that the fire area(s) can get crowded early in the sing-along or right before. Flaming marshmellows are a common occurance and people think they can put out the fire by waving them around in the air. But with kids shoulder to shoulder that's not good. One kids was waving his flaming tip around near my daughter's long hair and I grabbed it, blew it out, and handed it back to him. His parents were nowhere to be found.

It's been a long time since I've been in summer but I think crowds are a little lighter then. The peak season at the Fort is springtime and holidays (July 4, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving week, Christmas Week). So movie crowds probably peak and ebb accordingly. Except for those peak times the crowds are manageable. Just be patient and you will enjoy the experience. It's a cheesy, fun, innocent time so go and enjoy.

Remember to bring choclate chip cookies for Chip and Dale. That's their favorites! :woohoo:
