I am considering staying in a Cabin for 4 nights in August with 4 adults (we are all early 20s.) Has anyone ever stayed there before and can recommend it? Was it tough getting around to the parks, we will be using Disney transportation? Should we rent a golf cart if we do stay there? How many beds and what type are in the Cabin? It is either that or a studio, so we dont mind doubling up in a queen bed. Thanks in advance for your help.

The cabins are so neat! In the bedroom, there is a full/double bed and a set of bunk beds. In the living area there is a full/double Murphy bed that folds down. The bathroom is really nice and spacious and there's a table with chairs & a bench for dining - really, plenty of room to cook a meal, eat it and clean up!

We didn't get a golf cart since we were just there one night but I would recommend it if you'll be taking advantage of the amenities of that resort. The internal buses can take a while, even though the stop wasn't far from our cabin. You can take a bus to HS or AK. You can take the boat from FW to MK (I want to say it goes to the Contemporary first, but I might be confused - but if so, just get on the monorail!), or change monorails and go to EPCOT (but it might be just as fast to take the bus to EPCOT). (I was only there once, so any pros feel free to jump in and correct any misinformation! :rolleyes1 )

Enjoy!! I would love to return to take advantage of all the fun stuff there is to do there!!

There is a lot more room in the cabin, with a full kitchen. But the beds are only doubles, both in the bedroom (also has bunk beds) and the murphy pullout is a full too. If you go you'll need salt and pepper, small cups for the bathroom, basket type coffee filters, and foil or a cookie sheet for pizza if you think you'll do any in cabin cooking.

The studios in DVC have a queen bed and full size sofa bed (except OKW -- 2 Qs), and a kitchenette with microwave, dorm frig, toaster, and coffee maker.

We stayed in a cabin this past May. We really liked it and would go back. :thumbsup2 The cabins are very nice and there is a lot more space and privacy than in a typical hotel room. We loved having a "living room" to relax in and a full kitchen and table.

We did not rent a golf cart since we had our own car and drove to most of the parks. I would highly recommend a golf cart if you are using Disney transportation. We used the internal buses a couple times and they are not very frequent. The boat to the MK was great and there is also one to the WL and contemporary. But you have to get to the dock first and the cabins are far from the dock.

As mentioned by previous posters, the cabins have double, not queen beds. A double bed and twin bunk beds in the bedroom and a double Murphy bed in the living room.

Does anyone know how much a golf cart costs per day? Could one golf cart fit 4 adults?
