I was wondering if anyone has been to the Trails End buffet at Fort Wilderness. I know they have a buffet for B,L & D just wanting to know if they are any good.
Thanks :sunny:

Bad. Especially if you're on the dining plan. Not a good value. And not good food, in my opinion.

We like Trail's End. The food has always been good and we have been there several times for both BF and Dinner.
The only problem is the buffet line -- it moves very, very slowly and it was very long the last few times we were there.
I wish more people didn't like it so they would stay away:)

We thought it was mediocre. VERY small salad bar and only a few choices of food, fried chicken, ribs and I think it was buffalo meat. So-so, I would not make a special trip but we stayed there for four nights so it was the logical choice. Breakfast was very simple, not like Crystal Palace or Chef Mickeys (and I am not talking about characters!).

It has been a few years since I have been there, but when I did eat there (for breakfast) I thought it was very good.

We had our Thanksgiving meal last year there. There was plenty of food and most of it was edible. It was just..bland or something. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either.

I'm told that during regular days, a lot of the same food from Hoop Dee Doo ends up there: not left over, just the same, but I haven't been at that time.

The drinks were good, bread was okay, and the salad bar was pretty good, but it was just mediocre.

I don't think parents patrol their kids as well as they should at other serve yourself buffets and there is a bigger chance of touched food and changed minds (I saw this happen once or twice.)

I was just there on Monday, and it was OK, nothing to write home about, I didn't even give it a review.

We ate there over Christmas. It was good. Nothing to write home about.

Thanks...I appreciate the responses. We will be staying at the CBR Sept 21-28 so it sounds like we shouldn't go out of our way to go there.
