We are having my sons 4th birthday party at Fort Wilderness. We will be spending the entire weekend celebrating. The party will take place at the Meadows Swimmin' Pool. I would really appreciate any help designing an invitation (maybe one that I can add his picture to), T-shirt, lifesavor wrapper and coloring book cover. We are going with more of a western theme.
Birthday info: Cade (age 4)
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Party time: 12:00pm
Location: Fort Wilderness Resort ~
Meadows Swimmin' Pool

We are having dinner at Hoop de Doo review to celebrate 3 birthdays. An invitation for that would be great!

Dinner is on Friday, October 1st at 9:30pm
Celebrating Stan (no age needed)
Kyra (age 8)
Cade (age 4)

I understand this is alot, but I truly appreciate any and all help.
Thank you!
Shannon

I'm pretty sure that Natalie (Donatalie) has a blank invite for Hoop De Doo Review that you could use. Look in the "meet the DISigners" sticky for links to her shared items.

I will see if there isn't something I can play around with...

Thanks, I will look into that.

We just had a change ~ he no longer wants to go western. He would like Pirate Mickey and the Gang! It does help me since we have way more pirate decorations than western:) Anything you can come up with would be awesome! All details are the same, only change in theme.

I had western bag toppers, an invite and lots of fun things that I was working on uploading to my 4shared...oh well.

If you look in my 4shared file...in "driver's license -certificate" file there is an honorary pirate certificate that you could give to each party participant. Eye patches and bandanas also make great party favors and look cute in pictures to turn the party goers into pirates. For some reason I can't get the 4shared website to open up today...if you have problems too...try again tomorrow as they may be updating their website.

Thank you! Sorry about the change. He was in his dress-up bin and found his pirate costume from the Disney Cruise we took. He wants to wear it along with the other 'pirate Mickey' things he has. Do you personalize from your 4-share file? I'm looking for a personalized t-shirt design so I can make him an iron-on.
Thanks and sorry again.

I'm really good with party things and candy wrappers...but t-shirt designs have never been my things. Sorry.

Also, I don't do a lot of personalization. I put blank things in my 4shared file so that you can personalize them yourself. Here is a thread that teaches how if you have MS Word:

I will do that. Can you also upload the western things you came up with? I decided to over ride the little soon to be 4 year old and go western. I think it just fits better with the entire weekend. I know in the long run he will have a great time no matter what! Thanks for your patience and understand. I am going to spend time today looking through all your shared files.

Those are really good. My other son turns 6 in April, so we may do a pool, pirate theme party for him. I am sticking with western for ~ Cade's 4th Birthday Hoedown Weekend Celebration! He will love it:goodvibes

I will post the western things to my 4shared this afternoon. The link to my 4shared is in my signature. Then look in the "parties" file and I will add a wedstern file.

Thank you again! I am very excited. I will check your 4shared later today. again, no rush. Thankfully his party is not until October:)

4shared is finally working again. I uploaded a few things that you might be able to use. Here is a quick list of some of the things and sizes:

Invitation: 5x7 You can add a fun western image at the top like a horseshoe or the logo that I made for Cade if you want to add a little something to it.

Bag Toppers: I put two different types...a plain bandana or one that you can add wording, pictures or the logo to. You will have to resize them to fit a bag if you choose to do something with a baggy.

Water Bottle Wrapper: Since you are swimming and outdoors it is always nice to have something to drink! These wrappers should measure 8.5 x 2 inches to fit around most water bottles. You can get several on a page. Then print and cut out. If you want to keep the water bottles on ice...after you trim out the water bottle cover with clear adhesive shelf paper (you can find it at walmart...it is also called peel and stick laminiate...and it is with the rest of the shelf paper). When you trim the shelf paper...trim it a little wider all the way around than the label so that you can stick it to the water bottle. I would still suggest using double sided tape on both ends as the adhesive on the shelf paper isn't that strong. Hope that makes sense!

Cupcake Toppers - These should measure between 2-2.5 inches. Cut out and attach to toothpicks and insert into the top of the cupcake.

Cupcake Wrappers - These are already set up on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper...you will want to print "page to fit".

You could also use the color logo as a cover for your coloring book...

I posted two possible versions for invitations that you could use and used your party information as an example. I'm hoping the things I made match what you had invisioned.

I posted a picture of a cute "favor/loot bag" that works with a western theme...

AND

Since you are having a week long event...you should invite everyone to one of the campfire sing alongs. I posted an example pic of a smore packet that you could take and distribute to the guests. You could use one of the bandana bag toppers to make your own. You could also make the water bottles with the bandana wrappers, as you always need a little something to drink after a smore!

I believe there are several campfire sing alongs at different Disney locations...here is one:
There is a free Campfire Sing-Along with Chip & Dale at the WDW Fort Wilderness Campground. It generally begins around 7 p.m. during the fall/winter season and 8 p.m. beginning sometime in April through the summer. It is held near the Meadow Trading Post in the campfire area. The program begins with a sing-along led by a Disney cast member - if you've seen "Barney", you know these songs - and a marshmallow roast around two campfire rings. While this is going on, Chip and Dale make an appearance to visit with guests and sign autographs. The sing-along lasts about 40 minutes.

After the sing-along , aDisney movie is shown on a large outdoor screen.Seating is available in bleachers or on benches. There is also plenty of room to lay out a blanket or set up your own camp chairs. We try to post all of the resort movie schedules on our website at the beginning of the month. The current movie schedule is posted at all comfort stations. In the event of rain, the sing-along is still held on the porch of the Meadow Trading Post.

You may bring your own marshmallows or buy them at the Chuckwagon Snack Bar (roasting sticks - $0.49 each, Marshmallow Bag -$3.99, Hershey's Chocolate Bars - $1.99 each, or a whole s'mores kit is around $8.99; prices accurate as of May 2010). You may also buy pizza, hot dogs, candy, nachos, juice, popcorn, sodas, coffee, beer and other refreshments at the Chuckwagon Snack Bar.

The campground also has a free petting zoo and pony rides (about $5 each) that close earlier in the afternoon. These are in the "Settlement Trading Post" area - take the Ft. Wilderness internal bus. The Trail's End Restaurant is considered one of WDW's best buffet values. The Trail's End also has a carry-out window called “Trails-To-Go” 16-inch pizzas and fried chicken meals – both individually sized and family sized. If you have a free day (or your arrival day), you can go early and see the petting zoo, have a nice dinner, and then head over to the Sing-Along.

We recommend this to every one going to Disneyworld with young kids because we enjoy it so much. It is one of Disney's least expensive Character Meet and Greet experiences and a great low-key activity when you find yourself a little over-stimulated from the theme parks.

Thanks for all the info. Making the smores bag is a great idea. We are planning on going to the sing a long Saturday night. I love all the ideas and the special touches to make it an amazing birthday for my son and all the guests. Now its time I get to work:goodvibes
I really appreciate all your help!
