Fort Lauderdale to Comfort Suites Maingate East Car Rental?

Please help..I am planning to rent a van from Fort Lauderdale airport then drive going to our hotel at Comfort Suites Maingate East. Now, I don't know how to return the car rental and where? Do I return it to Orlando airport?If I do the Orlando airport return--at least they are open late-how do I go back to Comfort Suites at the cheapest rate..at night? A taxi? That might be $50!What car rental do I use?Any suggestions please?
