FORT FIENDS DREAM CRUISE Sept 4th, 2011 (Labor Day Week)

We had 16 ft seas Christmas Day. It made walking to your seat from the buffet quite a challenge.

Had a close call in the elevator. We were stopped and a couple of ladies, one was not well, were discussing if this was their floor. The door was starting to close when I heard the tell-tale sounds :scared1: and decided that the stairs would be me best bet down to 1.

Oooohhhhh...I thought you meant you had a recipe for mixing up your own dramamine!!

It's nice to see so much interest in this, I was thinking for booking a cruise on the Dream for early 2011 but will consider this one instead, it is hard to get holiday's off but i see if it is possible.

Cruise travel is very fun especially on Disney, the service is spectacular and this ship is going to be awesome. I have been concerend about motion sickness int eh past but have never had a problem, last cruise I bought bonine but never used it. Don't let motional sickness discourage you from this trip.

Since you can't bring your golf carts onboard I wonder if we could rent a fleet of ECV's to race around the promanade deck. That water coaster looks cool but I doubt you would get me on it!!

Rhonda how many rooms need to be booked to get the special perks?

Scott it would be great to meet you! I agree the coaster is one I will be watching everyone else enjoy LOL!

Hi Scott! We'd love to have you join us!

I'm not sure how many rooms will need to be booked. John just said "if we book a large enough group". So, we're trying to get all we can!! :)

Maybe if you ask your employer this far in advance, they'll give it to you! I bet nobody's asked a year-and-a-half in advance, for a holiday off yet!! LOL

We don't want an accessible stateroom, and don't want to have to worry about findin a place to put it.

On my last Disney Magic cruise, we were in an accessible room and we loved it!! We didn't book it purposely, we had a guarantee, and that's what they gave us. It was huge!!! We felt like we were in a suite!

I didn't even think about Richie bringing his scooter, last time they found a place in the hall to plug it in. Should we ask for a accessible room stateroom?

Wow.....This thread made it to STICKY STATUS!!!!!

Hey Rhonda.....is it possible to get an exact rate quote before the deposit is sent in? Are the rates posted on Disneycruise.com accurate? Ive noticed that vacationstogo.com has the same price as disneycruise.com, although VTG SAYS that they are saving you 65% off of the brochure price.

Reminding everyone that booking this cruise through Rhonda@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com is 100% FREE, and it gets you a FREE ONBOARD CREDIT to spend anyway you like while on the ship, as well as some other bonuses to be announced once we've all let them know we're booking!!! This service also promises to continuously monitor the rates and grab us any future discounts or upgrades that are offered by Disney Cruise Lines. You guys KNOW how much of a cheapskate I am, so Im all for free service and additional discounts.....its a win/win!!!!!

John, you HAVE to come! I would love to watch Matt, but Auntie Kelly is gonna be on the cruise!!!! :woohoo:

John....I think Kelly just promised to watch Matt on the cruise if ya'll bring him when ya come with us!!!!:thumbsup2

Sorry, but, if I go, she can't watch Matt 'cuz she'll be watching me! :lmao:

I think the safety of the ship would be better if MATT were the one babysitting the TWO OF YOU!!! ;)

You know the boards would be safe too, because all the troublemakers would be on the ship! LOL
