Our ADR for Coral Reef is for tomorrow night and I was just able to get the ADR yesterday after weeks of trying. In my excitement I forgot to put in the information about my DS's dairy allergy. He can't have anything with any form of dairy product or byproduct. Is there a chance they could still do some type of dessert for him - even maybe dairy-free sorbet - if I let them know when we arrive at the restaurant?

I really goofed on this because it is DS's B-Day and this is the one place he wanted to eat last time we were there, but weren't able to. :guilty:

1. Call Dining in the morning and they can add a note to the reservation.

2. Much more important. When you get to the podium to check in make sure they are aware of it. Even if youh had not notified them in advance a chef should still come out to talk to you.

Cheshire Figment gave the best advice.
Hope it all works put for you.

Agree, let call now and make sure to let them know when you arrive. This past trip, a few of our ADRs somehow didn't have any note of our allergies but we still were able to get safe meals (well, all but the Wave; that's a whole other post). The chef will still come out to your table to discuss the allergy and what he can safely make. I believe that pretty much every Disney owned restaurant (CR is Disney owned) carries Tofutti ice cream as well as some kind of allergy baked good (generally Divvies cookies or French Meadows brownies) so your son should still be able to get a safe and yummy dessert. Happy birthday to your DS!!!
