I cannot believe I flaked on this!!! Anyone have any luck just showing up? Their offices don't open till we are in the air!

No, you won't be able to just show up. Disney's contract with the airport requires people to have made reservations beforehand. You'll most likely have to go to the Mears counter and pay for transfers to WDW, or take a taxi.

To prevent the same situation for your return trip, be sure to book DME as soon as you get to your resort.

Call them when you land and then you'll know one way or the other. I would think the computer information could be updated immediately, as long as it isn't an over-sized group that would take up several seats, busses usually have an extra seat or two. You'll need to retrieve any luggage from the carousel and tote it yourselves, of course.

Thank you both! I called just now from the plane (we are still at the gate at our departure city) and they booked us for our arrival. Good thing we are just carrying on!

For there record, you can show up at Magical Express without having pre booked. They will pull your resort reservation up and print you a boarding pass.
