Remembering Ronald Reagan as we first knew him

My favorite movie he was in is The Hasty Heart with Richard Todd and Patricia Neal.

I'm pretty old  but I don't think I have ever seen a Ronald Reagan movie!

Turner Classic Movies is having 24 hours of his movies today (Thursday). :) I like "Knute Rockne, All American", "Storm Warning", and "The Winning Team", and I seem to remember that "One for the Book" was a cute movie. I know that there are more that I like. They always say that his best movie role was in "Kings Row". I haven't seen all of that one yet, but perhaps I'll be able to tonight when it's on TCM at 8:00 PM (ET).

Being a baseball history fan, I liked The Winning Team. Reagan bore a striking resemblance to Grover Cleveland Alexander.

I've got TCM on this morning. I'm so glad that they are doing this tribute.

Santa Fe Trail with Olivia de Havilland and Errol Flynn

I don't know the name of the movie, but it's the one where he got his legs cut off.

I agree...Santa Fe Trail...with Errold Flynn...great movie of its time

I've only ever seen one - Brother Rat. It wasn't very good, but it was based on DH's college, so it was funny to us.

I've always been a big Notre Dame fan so it has to be Knute Rockne, All American.

Ronald Reagan and Pat O'Brien in the same movie!
