So how much stock do you put in weather forecasts? We are arriving DLR this Wednesday and staying through Sunday. I am beyond thrilled that the weather looks ideal- about 70 everyday. On Friday and Saturday it does show a 20% chance of rain. We have no issue doing the parks in the rain but does it seem worth it to pack rain gear for only 20% chance? What would YOU do?

20% is very low... and if it does rain, at those chances, it likely won't be more than a sprinkle. Personally, I wouldn't bother, however, I grew up on the northwest coast where rain is a daily part of life and never slows anyone down :goodvibes. But if wanted to pack them just in case, you can buy those ponchos that come in those tiny little bags. That way, you aren't packing around big jackets all day.

Have a great time!

I'd throw in one of those emergency ponchos you can get at the camping section in Target for $1 each...they are small and inexpensive but work well

We'll be there Friday & Saturday. A few days ago they were saying 50-60% and I was nervous! I plan to just toss ponchos in my bag and make sure we have sweatshirts with hoods.

I actually hope for a sprinkle to keep the crowds lower!

I saw the 50-69% chance too. Im so glad it is decreased now. I'm crossing all my fingers and ties that the weather holds as predicted because 68-72 is my IDEAL Disneyland weather :cool1:

Question about 68-72 ideal DL weather: are those temps too cool for shorts? I'm in Texas, and we'd definitely wear shorts for those temps, but I didn't know if the same temp in CA would feel "cooler" because of the ocean breeze. Does that make sense? Trying to figure out if I should pack any shorts for the kids to wear this weekend.

Personally, I always think it feels a bit warmer than the actual temp when I'm in the parks. I think it's because of all the cement or something. I would absolutely where shorts in 68-72 degrees. If anything, it may feel cooler at night...but I'd still wear shorts and then just throw a sweatshirt on if I felt cold at all.

However, I sweat in anything hotter than 65. So that my opinion for what it's worth...ha!
