for you who know the layout and views - new wilderness lakefront compared to Poly bungalows

How would you say the views will compare to each other. Specifically wondering about fireworks?

No doubt about it: The PVB bungalows will offer much, much better viewing of the Magic Kingdom fireworks than anything that will be viewed from the Wilderness lake front cabins. As others have said, the trees and/or the Contemporary complex will block views of all but the highest fireworks. Plus, you are much further away from MK if you are at Wilderness.

If you stay at WL, the best view is from the beach.

You can view some fireworks from the WL beach and also the cast member parking lot so the cabins should see the higher ones too. It won't be like the Poly though.
