For us 'more mature, senior folks' here on the board, have you noticed the new link at the top of the page?

@WebmasterCorey Many of us use an ad blocker and didn't see the banner at all. There are probably many, many others on the other forums who do not come to the CB and will read Dan Murphy's post and will probably not see it either.

A suggestion is to temporarily put a forwarding link in the same box as the "Congratulations & Birthday Wishes" and the "Controversial Topics" are. (Although, a lot of people still don't know about the Controversial Topics board, even though it's been there for months now. So, I'm not sure that's going to work any better. )

Interesting. I use an ad blocker but I see it. However it is very subtle and without the post on the CB I would not know about it.

You can actually change the size of the font for ALL of the websites you visit by changing the font size in your BROWSER'S settings.

In Firefox, click on "Tools" in the top of the bar at the top of the screen. Then click "Settings" Input "font" in the search bar on the right. Then click on Advanced on the right. I enlarged the font size. Yet, equally important is to scroll down and enlarge the minimum font size as that may be still to small to read well.

Me too. I think it's because we have Ad Block Plus and whatever banner we blocked there is permanently blocking all other banners. So, it's probably the coding of it being a banner. But, WMCorey did a great job of changing the colors and trying to get the word out. So, I didn't want to mention it again.






Edited: When I refreshed the page, it was there for a split second before the ad blocker killed it. Haven't seen it again, even after refreshing many times.
