For us Disney Chase card holders, how will we know if Free a dining is extended?

Ok, so if the rumor is true about the free dining being extended starting Aug 3, if it gets offered earlier to us Disney Chase card holders, how will we know?? Where there be an email that gets sent out, will it be posted and advertised on the WDW website?

I will for sure be checking every possibility tomorrow am!!!

It shows up under special offers when you log into chase.. also the FD thread will get like 88 new pages of posts in like 1 hour.

I have had the Disney Visa for years now and have NEVER gotten an email from them about a discount.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I was always under the impression that if FD is offered it would be offered first for Disney Visa cardholders. I've had my disney VISA since 2005 and each time a FD offer has been announced, it's always come first to the VISA cardholders before it got announced to the GP.

I always get the emails from Chase but they often come a day or two after I've already read about the offer on the Disboard or seen it on the Disney Visa website.

Actually in 2010 - the July 6th offer for FD from 8/15-12/21 was not offered to Visa card holders first, and neither was the 8/16 FD extension for 10/1-12/21 (and dates into 2011). Both went straight to the general public.

Hmmmm...that might be a misprint....We stayed at the AKL in November of last year with FD and I remember switching to FD when I saw it on my Disney VISA and I say vaguely only b/c I was on vacation the w/o July 5th last year and remember dealing with all of this BEFORE I actually left on the 5th. Again, I could be wrong but I could have sworn it was announced a few days before the GP. In a any case, as it relates to this year, it's still not posted on the Disney VISA website so we'll all just have to wait & see if the rumor is correct.

I about had a heart attack because I have been refreshing that page with the offers all morning. I just refreshed and I knew something had changed because it took longer to load.

Just my luck it had changed but it was only to offer a new Mickey Sorcerer pin available to card holders only.

So I will sit and wait again...

I've a Disney Chase Visa holder for many years and have never gotten advance notice of free dining. I don't know that it matters though, I've always been able to get the resort I want for the days I want without any trouble. Have I just jinxed my luck?

I have never been notified either. Yesterday I was on the disneyrewards.com page and found a section that told me to add my email address if I wanted to receive special offers via email.
