For those who've eaten at the Blue Bayou and have had as follows:

Thanks for the review, CorpseBride....lots of good info. :thumbsup2

We had a wonderful experience for our meal at BB. DH and I split the jambalaya and it was wonderful. We made our reservation for 11:30 and checked in about 11:15. We got the last seat that was right next to the river. Our sever was great! All of our food was wonderful!

The bread was good, nothing special, but good. I had the wedge salad which was very good. I liked the dressing and the presentation was good. It was a little different in that you get a 1/4 of a head of lettuce that you have to cut up. No big deal. The plate had and it had small cubes of andouille sausage that was tasty.

DH had the gumbo and the empty plate in the background was crab cakes. He said they (there were two) we good, but not the best he has ever had.

My half order of the jambalaya. It was very good. I don't care for seafood and there was no "fishy" taste to any of it.

Besure to save room for dessert!

 Thanks so much for posting photos. I was really thinking of getting the jambalaya, but seeing a photo of it it looks too spicey for me. I'll probably just end up having the filet mignon.

What ever you end up getting I am sure will be yummy! DH's BF had the prime rib and said it was great also!

Have a great trip!
