For those who wanted Port Orleans resorts...

Nope, no email - just a PIN that was attached to our name. It was Free Dining for POR and POFQ, with the same sets of dates as the general public offer.

Yay for you!!! We were originally at POR with MM deal as we were going regardless and paying for DDP. When Joe shared that neither PO resort was included for DV offer (or public for that matter, if no PIN), I started looking closer at CBR and CSR. While going back and forth, loving the theme and hating the double beds at CBR, only wanting to stay at CSR if in the cabanas section (we are from AZ and didn't really want to vacation to a resort that was southwestern themed) and not liking the distance from the parks at CSR, we decided that a business class room at CSR would be a perfect fit and worth the extra $200 for a club room with snacks, drinks, etc included AND we will be in the cabanas section guaranteed!

Sure we would have loved to go back to POR (were there for our twins 5th bday and this trip will be For their 10th) we can try a new resort with some added perks WITH dining plan paid for! Saved us $900 over the MM deal we had already booked with dining added AND saved us $1600 over what it would have cost us full price for everything. Win for us in any case! Soooo excited!

Now to add on the memory maker...decisions...

We decided to stay with Riverside. We're taking 12 this year and have 5 royal rooms booked. When all was said and done I found the price to be decent considering we paid for deluxe dining. I'm satisfied.

Moved from POFQ to CB (have stayed at both before) with the free dining i was able to upgrade room from court yard standard to perferred, add a 4th adult to our stay with PH ticket and still get a $450.00 refund. Some place we mostly just sleep at was not worth keeping for the the saving that I got by switching resorts. We have stayed at both resorts twice each in the past and have never had problems with either.

We booked 2 rooms at Pop. Pop is our favorite resort so I considered it fate stepping in and putting us where we love.

Seeing the rumor about the PIN I called to see we had one attached and we did!! I am now booked at POR 12/22-1/2 with free dining!

We were not booked previously and would not of been able to go without POR being available!! SOOO excited!

The word from people currently at CBR is that they are preparing to start the room refurb which includes queen beds.

REALLY hoping this rumor is true. We will be staying there in Oct. for the first time (we are normally a POR family of 5 at AB). We are very excited about trying a new resort, although will miss the tranquility and meandering through lush greens at POR_AB. We also love Yeehaa Bob, Riverside Mill, and Boatwright's, so this is a big move for us. We sort of went into meltdown mode when POR was not an option with FD. But after thinking about it and looking at tons of photos of CBR, we are excited about the new adventure. I would love to have queen beds!! Maybe by October....

Looks like I'm in the minority--we decided to stay at POR in our RR I toyed with the idea of upgrading to WL but I really fell in love with the idea of POR and so many of it's amenities I think we'll be happier just staying where we are and paying for dining.

We were pretty set on the RR as well, but proximity to MK and free dining pushed us to WL.

If we get a PIN or some other discount, I could see switching back to POR RR!

I was actually all set to switch to WL, but by the time my TA got through we would have had to upgrade further than I wanted to pay. So POR it is, hoping for a PIN or RO discount
