Well, if your family is anything like my family, there is always that 1 last bridge that can't be burned no matter what. In my family, the crazy mooching uncle is back living with his mommy. I think what my brother is going to come up against is Dear Ole Dad is no longer with us. My brother would go to everyone and anyone, and if all he got were no's up and down, then Dad would be the last resort, and dad never let him down.

Dad died in 2004, and sooner or later, my borther will realize he has hit brick wall after brick wall.

He is 35 years old, and I think I am living in a fantasy if I believe he is going to "grow up" anytime soon.
