Hey everyone,
Last month the DIS/Dreams Unlimited Travel sponsored a cruise - they call them Podcast cruises, and this was the third one. On each cruise there are special guests, and on this past one, Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily were on it, and they gave an exclusive talk to the DISers on the cruise.
For those of you who do not know who these gentlemen are, they are the men who designed the floats for the Soundsational Parade, Murphy the dragon in Fantasmic, as well as a ton of merchandise, from tshirts, to scuptures, to artwork, and more. I was surprised how much of their work that I recognized. In fact, Kelly (my daughter) and I were in World of Color this past Saturday and saw a vase in the shape of an old popcorn container they used to sell back in the 50's at Disneyland that was designed by these two.
I encourage everyone here on the Disneyland boards to watch the video that Corey linked among the stickies. It was fascinating to see it in person, and just as interesting to watch the video via computer.
