We have already decided we will need to bring a double stroller with us on our next trip. The question is do we bring a front to back or a side by side? We're wondering about the boat that will take us to MK. Will we be able to wheel either one on or would we have to fold them up (the side by side in particular)? Thanks to anyone who can help us!

You have to fold it up. Front to back would make it easier to navigate through shops and crowds.:D

we stayed at WL in Jan and took our big Graco stroller, not a double but big, we call it the SUV :) If I were you, I would bring the front/back stroller. That way, you can wheel the stroller right on the boat that takes you to the MK and the monorail to Epcot. The only time we had to fold up the stroller was to take the bus to MGM. Have fun, WL is beautiful!

I just returned from VWL and we had our side by side Combi stroller and we were able to roll it onto the boat to MK. If the boat is very crowded, you have to fold it up since there really isn't any extra room for it. Personally, I like the side by side since the front to back seem like drving a limo to me. I felt that they were just as hard to manuver, which is why I got the side by side. My kids like being able to play with each other. Again, a personal choice, but I didn't have any problems navigating through any of the store I encountered during our recent 2 week stay.

We took our heavy front to back double stroller last year as my kids were 2 and 5. This worked ok, but I can't tell you how much relief it was not to push it around this year. The combi above is probably very light and a good choice. I saw tons of people with the Light unbrella double side byside Kolcraft stroller and they looked like they were doing well. This year we rented the strollers in the parks as the kids are getting bigger and that worked well.

I always bring my 'SUV' double, side by side, to Disney with us. This poor baby has alot of WDW miles on it! We always stay at the WL/VWL. The entire resort is strller friendly. I was able to get everywhere, including the monorails (when not crowded) and boats (same goes). Not to worry about either stroller you choose. It'll be a breeze.

We brought our Combi side-by-side and had no problem on the boat. I think it depends on the size of the stroller, any wider and I don't think it would have fit. I loved the fact that our stroller folded up so small (a necessity on the buses) and it was lightweight. If your side-by-side is wider than ours, I would not recommend it. You may also want to consider how you are arriving at the parks. Our front to back stroller does not fit in the trunk of a regular car so if you are taking a towncar from the airport to the hotel, be careful.
