For those who have stayed at any wdw village resort near dtd

Tell me wherre you stayed adn what you thought of the place. What was the transportation like? Did anyone use the Disney transportation option by walking to a bus stop?

I stayed at Hotel Royal Plaza and we used the buses.

these aren't Disney buses. One bus stops at all the resorts before it leaves to go to the parks - same coming back. Each park has it own bus.

I stayed at the Hilton and the Wyndham, but drove into the parks (we had an Annual Pass and free parking). Both hotels were OK, but I prefer to stay on-site, even at a Value resort over anything in DTD.
