This trip will probably just be DH and me. I have never eaten at the castle and I'm not interested in a character meal.I'm considering lunch at CRT.I have a couple of questions..How fast does it fill up for lunch?? How long will the meal last?? What would you recomend of the menu? Is this considered a Nice lunch or is it loud with kids running around the restaurant?? How's the service?? Is it worth it?? Sorry about all the questions,I only ask because I know you know the answers;)

CRT is one of our favorite lunch spots at the MK. DH and I went by ourselves on a whim last September. There were no PSs acailable when when we called that a.m., but we only waited ~15 minutes in the standby line. Our server was great and the food was good, too. DH had the Coachman sandwich and I had the Royal Poulet (a pasta dish). The atmosphere was awesome, and to be honest, I don't remember seeing that many small children there (maybe they all went at breakfast??)--mostly late elementary (>8 yo) and up. I think, including the wait, it was about an hour total in time. I definitely recommend CRT for lunch!

We ate lunch at CRT last May. We did wait about 20 - 25 minutes for our p.s. time but we also were there at peak time of day - 12 noon. Yes, there were children there and ours were with us (ages 7, 9, and 12) but it wasn't loud and I didn't see any kids misbehaving or running around. The atmosphere of the castle is lovely and the service was outstanding. As for food choices 2 of us tried prime rib and were a bit disappointed but another member of our party had Major Domo's Pie which has prime rib in it and it was very good. It's "slices of prime rib of beef simmered in rich cabernet sauce with red skinned mashed potatoes, crowning a light pastry". My dd had a chicken caesar salad that she enjoyed. I think everyone should dine in the castle at least once even if it's for the atmosphere alone.

Thank you for replying so fast. That's exactly what I needed to hear.I'm glad to hear service is outstanding, bad service ruins a dining experience.I can't wait to try Major Domo's pie, sounds delicious!! I will make a PS.
