how long did they actually spend with you and your guests? I know we have them for 30 minutes, but it does not sound like you actually get 30 minutes.

We are having 5 characters and we are trying to decide if we want to split them up into two different times, or have them all together. I would love them together, just for group shots. But I don't know if there will be enough time for everyone to take pictures and mingle with them.

i didn’t have a timer out, but i felt ours were above and beyond (alice & Mad hatter) - we had time separate with them and they signed our “guest book” vinylmations, they did a whole silly fun thing with our guests duirng their “time” 9we used them to transition from pre-reception to the brunch) AND we took a TON of pictures. i mean a ton.

so they were there really a long time. like so long i was internally stressing that we were probably making them stay too long and they would just run away at some point. they were really great!

i think splitting up 5 would be good, unless you have an idea for what you want.... i think the characters are really good for transitions - pre-reception, before cake cutting, before the end... happy planning!

We had Mickey & Minnie at our reception and I think they did stay the entire 30 minutes plus some-they did a fun intro, cake cutting, danced with me and my DH, danced more with our guests, and also did a photo shoot with me and my DH outside of the reception room.

They were wonderful and I thought they did a fantastic job :)

We had four character (both mice and both ducks) and I felt like they were present long enough. We did have a smaller group (around 25), so that might make a difference, but they all danced, at least two songs, cut cake, and took tons of photos. It was so much fun! Especially if you're wanting to do a group photo.

In every wedding I've DJed, the characters are present for the entire 30 minutes. It will typically work like this:

Dancing for 3-4 songs
Cake cutting
Personal Pics w/B&G and family

If this takes less than 30 minutes, they come and dance for another song or two before they leave.

Hope this helps!
