For those who drive...

My husband and I drove from south Gergia to WDW two weeks ago. Once we got into the Orlando area, about 10 miles out from the World, there were many many signs for discounted WDW admission tickets. Some were advertising one day admission tickets for $32.00. Have any of you checked them out? Does anyone know what the catch is with those places?

Many require you to take a "short tour of an exciting resort" which turns into a long, dragged out tour of a timeshare resort with a hig pressure sales pitch a tthe end.

Others are partially used tickets which are actually illegal to sell per FL statute.

If it sounds too good to be true...

I've tried them and yes the previous post was right. Almost all of them are for a Westgate Resorts, but some are from Wyndham Palms and a few others. I've done a few of them. Some are longer and more high pressure than others. Wyndham is the best one I've seen. We got a $120 cash after our 90 min tour. It wasn't high pressure for us because we had to pick you someone at the airport and made that clear before we started our tour. And we made it clear that we didn't have monies for a timeshare right now - PERIOD!!! My husband was a little rude, but we were in and out in 90 minutes and cash in hand.

So, if you have TIME to spend or your a little broke then go for it!!! I wanted to do a presentation so we can have extra spending monies. We didn't need it, but it helped when I hit those outlet malls.

My husband's step sister and her family did it last year while they were visiting my inlaws in Florida. They had to listen to a presentation for about 40 minutes and then they got two free tickets to MK. They had to purchase two tickets for their children but they thought it was a great deal since they didn't have to buy the adult tickets. Spent the money they saved in the parks anyway!!!
