We are trying to break up the long drive home from fl to ny. Can you recomend a good stop in va or md?

Hampton Inn Stoney Creek, it's south of Richmond, only about a year old, very clean and comfy, and right next to a travel plaza with Krispie Kreme's and Starbucks!

Lat time we drove home to NY we stayed in the Hampton Inn in Rocky Mount NC. it is just at the very top of NC.

We've stayed there as well, and it was also nice.

Don't do Fayetteville for Hampton Inn. The one close to the highway was creepy and seemed to be in a not very good part of town. SKibo road is very nice, but a LONG way off I-95. We stay there when visiting friends in Fayetteville, but wouldn't stay there otherwise due to how far it is off of 95.
