For those that added on via mail? When can you book with new points or dev. points?

The contract has already showed up on the DVC site...and we added on today over the phone....but we have of course not signed anything. Also since we added on to AKV I have to wait til Dec. to book for next summer with the currenty incentive the way it is set up.....but when do those 100 dev. points show up?? Thanks

Developer points may or may not show up on line. They are manually processed and take longer to post. The points don't belong to you, they belong to the developer, DVD. DVD is letting you use their points so technically, they shouldn't be added to your account. Call MS and they can check status for you.

I did call this morning and YES they were there. YEAH. I was able to book them for SSR for Nov. So I was happy.

We just became members last weekend. We did our deposit over the phone and received the paperwork on Tuesday and mailed it Wednesday. I had a question as to why you have to wait until December to book- is that because you are not going until next November? We plan on going next August so we are planning on making reservations in September, even though our use year is not until December. Am I missing something?

I booked this Nov. at SSR with our 100 incentive points plus our UY is Oct. so we get our stash of points then and we also own at SSR. So I called this morning to book that. I can book my AKV POINTS RIGHT NOW....BECAUSE i AM AT THE 11 MONTH WINDOW FOR NEXT JULY. I didn't book that one just yet. If I want to use those same points at another resort I would have to wait til Dec. at my 7 month window for my July 09 trip.
